Stephanie Llanes

Laurie Davidson graduated from The University of Texas at Austin with her B.S. in Communication Sciences and Disorders and her M. Ed. in Special Education from Texas Tech University. Laurie joined the the Gordon School in 2015 and has been a part of the Tikvah Center staff as a lead teacher teaching grades K-5. She also holds her Speech Language Pathologist Assistant license and has worked in a multidisciplinary pediatric clinical setting as a practicing speech therapist. Laurie was born and raised in south Texas and has lived in Miami for 8 years. She lives in Brickell with her husband and cat Piña. They enjoy getting out and enjoying all of Miami’s new restaurants, going to the beach, traveling, a great workout, and taking walks. Laurie has seen the Tikvah center grow and flourish over the last 6 years and is excited to bring her knowledge and experience to the director position in this time of continual growth and progression for the Tikvah Center and beyond
