On March 20, 2010, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the Gordon Schools of Beth David Congregation. Members of our community will gather to mark this date, sharing an evening to commemorate two decades of academic excellence, shared values, and community strength. Together, we will usher in a new era with our commitment to an enhanced facility and exciting new programs for the children in our community. We invite you to participate in this event, which brings together your friends, neighbors and customers, and bridges the past, present, and future with festivities that you will enjoy.

The evening will be a Roaring ‘20s Casino Night with dancing, casino games, food and bar, and a silent auction. We will be honoring a number of individuals who have shaped the Gordon Schools and made them successful: Norma Gordon; Janet Bass; our veteran teachers Nanette Avery, Jordan Bass, Fely Bolisay, Maritza Eguaras, Concepcion “Tita” Gelpi, Juanita Kho, Guadelupe Maldonado, Harilee Saltzman, Raquel Torrent, Eva Zack de Waisser (Mora Chava); and, staff member Debbie Betz.

You can be a part of this very special event by becoming a sponsor, underwriting a portion of the evening, or placing an advertisement in our commemorative journal to send your well wishes to honorees, children and/or the community. We are enclosing a Gala Participation Form for your reference. We hope you will identify a level of participation that is meaningful to you, our honorees, and our community. Supporting this event will help ensure that the Gordon Schools of Beth David Congregation continue to provide an excellent education to the children in our community. You can also support our Gala by donating an item to our silent auction to help us raise additional funds.
